One of South Africa’s most loved and most viewed Netflix drama has been cut short as it will not be coming back for season 2.
According to zalebs.com, Queen Sono has been cancelled because of Covid-19. It was revealed that it will not be coming back for season 2 by one of the Netflix spokesperson.
In their statement, they greatly thanked viewers for their support and promised to keep on working more with the creative industry of South Africa. Pearl Thusi also thanked Netflix for working with her to make history in Africa.
