Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana has been named one of the most inspiring and influential women on the BBC 100 women’s list. BBC revealed that they are honoring her with this since she uses her platform to speak out about violence against women in South Africa, after she experienced such trauma previously.
According to Iharare.com. Zahara once opened up about her traumatic experience, when she was almost violated by a police officer. she opened up about her experience live on television when she was on The Morning show that plays on etv. This occurred in East London, Eastern Cape.
