Man opens up about the time he almost lost his life in the hands of a mob justice.

A man went on social media and opened up about something terrible that he experienced in his life, when he was younger.

Back in the year 2004 to 2005, he almost lost his life in the hands of a mob justice. After he was falsely accused of sexually assaulting someone.

Him and his friends had decided to go to a party in Orlando West. It was only boys and they had planned to go and sleep at one of their friends place, not knowing that would be the biggest mistake of his entire life.

They had fun and partied until late hours of the day, after parting, they decided to go home, on their way home they came across two ladies called Nthabiseng and Nokuthula.

Nthabiseng was in a relationship with Mpumelelo, who was part of the group of guys and also their friend, at the time.Nthabiseng and Nokuthula had a small conversation with Mpumelelo. And the two ladies ended up joining the group of guys that had just come from partying, and they left together.

They were all still young at that time and the man admitted that he should not have went out that night to go out partying with his friends, after his grandmother warned him not to go out that night.

When they arrived at Lulama’s place, they had a box of wine and began drinking again. While they were drinking, Mpumelelo and Nthabiseng went to the bedroom, while everyone else was left sitting in the sitting room drinking. After few minutes of these two ladies going into the bedroom, the kitchen door was kicked open forcefully, and it was a group of men that entered the house and started fighting the boys that were drinking in the sitting room.

The boys managed to fight their way out and ran away. He (Neo) ran home and did not see were his other friends ended up. Upon arriving at home, he knocked on the door multiple times until his grandmother opened the door for him, after she opened the door she started shouting at him about going out late night, like she always did.

He sat down with his mother and started explaining to her everything that happened that night, but his grandmother did not want to listen, instead she ordered him to go to bed. He went to bed, while still in shock at what happened.

While he was asleep, between the hours of 3-4 am, he heard banging on the door. His grandmother woke up and opened the door, only to find out it was Nthabiseng’s brother along with his friends. Nthabiseng’s brother demanded to see him.

His grandmother shouted for him to wake up and told Nthabiseng’s brother, along with his friends to take him.

Now was then taken into a shack, to his surprise, he was the only one that they managed to catch out of all the boys that Neo was with earlier that day. He realised that they managed to get him because he stays with his grandmother, which made it easier for them to fetch him.

At the time, he was only 14 years old. They started beating him up and calling him all sorts of names. While they were beating him, he started shouting out for help and asking them why they were accusing him of something he did not do. They even stripped him out of his clothes.

They told him to take a zink bathing tub, made him pour cold water, get inside the water and continued to beat him while he was sitting inside and pouring more cold water on him. And the sad part is that it was a cold winter morning.

Mpumelelo was also caught and they started beating him up too. Later, they were taken to Nthabiseng’s place.

Upon arrival at Nthabisengs house, the beatings continued, without questions asked.

Two more boys were found, who were part of the group that was partying. To their luck, a Good Samaritan appeared to their rescue and ordered them to open a case against them instead. Neo then went home and talked to his grandmother, and showed anger towards her for not coming to look for him.

Later that night, they were arrested and charged with Rape. Mpumelelo was never arrested due to the reason that he is in a relationship with Nthabiseng and she had told the police about their relationship.

Neo was the youngest out of all the boys and he was the first to be accused. The boys were then given bail on their first court appearance because they were minors at the time.

The case continued for months, at that age, they were scared and they received all sorts of name calling and humiliation at ekasi.

Neo then revealed that he never made it to court and a warrant for his arrest was issued and he was arrested again. Since he was a minor, he was taken to Krugersdorp Juvenile prison and he had to attend court while he was inside prison.

On the final court date, the two ladies were both cross examined and DNA samples from both the boys and the girls were then represented in court. To the boys luck, the DNA samples were all negative.

The charges were dropped and they were not found guilty.
