Dr Maweni has no time to play. She recently showed a video on social media where she caught the person who has been using her name “Sangoma Gogo Maweni” to scam people.
In the video, it shows Dr Maweni at the woman’s house, while in the middle of shooting the next season of Izangoma Zodumo. She was shouting at her and showing anger but at the same time showing relief of that she finally caught the person that has been ruining her name and reputation.
The Video shows Dr Maweni’s husband also present and he was holding the scammers hand, guessing it was so she could not run away. The young lady looked shy, scared and shocked at what was going on. We don’t think she ever imagined herself being caught.
Dr Maweni’s husband later took the girls phone and used it to log into her social media. Which had all the proof that they wanted. And of course when they logged into the lady’s Facebook, she had an account under the name of Sangoma Gogo Maweni.
When the lady was asked who she is working with, she said she has been working alone. In the video Dr Maweni revealed that she was tired of people calling her and telling her that they want their money after they allegedly sent her thousands, which she had no idea about. The lady had even scammed an old woman an amount of more than R4000. Due to this situation, Dr Maweni was also forced to help people that the lady had scammed.
They even shared the lady’s name and her social media profile as Nokbonga Sphe and she resides in Durban. The police were also called to come arrest her for fraud.
