On her Instagram page, Eniola Badmus revealed that she has allegedly been receiving death threats.
The unsettling aspect of the threats, according to Badmus, is that the individual has never demanded anything from her, but has repeatedly threatened to murder her if she is ever seen at Amen Estate in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
“The sender of the death threats is anonymous, and I’ve been receiving his messages for the past two months. I’ve never been asked to do anything by this person.”
“The messages indicate that if they see me, they will kill me, and that if I go to Amen Estate (Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos), they will kill me.”
“However, this unknown person’s Instagram page has been reported and taken down. I’m not worried because God hasn’t given me the fearful spirit.”
When the threats didn’t stop, the nollywood star claimed that she had to call the cops since her family members were growing increasingly furious.
“My sister has been really concerned about the threat,” she added. My family members are usually concerned about anything that has to do with me.
“They were terrified, so we enlisted the help of a lawyer and the police.
“At first, I kept quiet since I didn’t think he was serious. I assumed he wasn’t in good mental health. I owe no one anything, therefore I’m not sure where the threat comes from.”
“This is probably the first time I’ve received a death threat. I’ve filed an official report with the police, and they’re already looking into it.”
