Idols SA judge Unathi shared on her social media account that she encountered something disturbing.
She was assaulted by a man repeatedly.
On her social media, she posted videos that showed how everything started and ended.
This is what she said happened, it started with a man bumping his car and immediately started shouting at her to try and scare her.
When the man realised that shouting at her was not enough, he resulted to putting his hands on her.
The worst part, some men came to near her and the man that was assaulting her, not to try and stop the man from assaulting Unathi, but to tell Unathi that it is okay and normal for the man to assault her as he pleased.
Unathi went on to say that she will be opening a case against the man that assaulted her.
Lastly,she said, Happy woman’s month ladies.
She said in her post: WHAT we deal with as South African WOMEN!!!!! He bumps my car, shouts at me to intimidate me. When that doesn’t work he repeatedly puts his hands on me. When that doesn’t work he flees. BUT the other men trying to diffuse the situation ALSO think it’s okay TO PUT THEIR HANDS ON ME. 🥺 Happy Women’s Month ladies. PS I’m fine.
