The actress made it clear that she has had serious struggles in the industry. The actress said that she did not get any formal training before she became the actress that she is today.
According to Mzansi Leaks, the actress said she is not formally trained, she said she told her friend that she wants to do this thing called acting, her friend told her about a group that she can join and the group taught her some discipline.
The actress opened up on that she was taught how to act in the community theatre.
Apart from acting, Nozuko went to the University of Kwazulu Natal to study Education. She considered going to the University after she lost her job.
Things even got hectic financially in the family, after her mother could no longer afford to pay for her education.
She also said that she completed her matric in 2010, when she was 23 years old. After she was 4 years out of school she started getting acting gigs from around Durban.
After she got her first acting gig in 2013, on siren saam, Nozuko would send her salary back home to her mother. She also fell into depression while acting on Skeem saam. Today she is copying well from her depression.
