Social media has turned into a place where people create fake accounts to make money out of innocent people.
These accounts are usually created for the reason of scamming people using celebrity’s names.
Modiehi Thulo has fallen victim of this problem. . She took to social media to give her fans a warning concerning the scammers using her name and pictures to lie to people.
The person who is behind the accounts was asking people to invest some of their money.
Modiehi has raised a serious concern with the accounts using her name to a point that she reported the accounts, but she has not been successful so far.
“Thokozani. I’m not this person. I’d never ask for money, a follow or anything of that sort. I’ve been reporting such accounts in vain. I’ll never ask anyone of you to invest either. Apparently “ I’m asking for investments” on Facebook too. That’s not me. Makhosi 👏🏾”
