A 13 year old girl who was allegedly poisoned at school :
On friday 17 September 2021 the Madzikuse primary school lost one of their students named Wanga Mutshotsho.
The matter was reported to her family on saturday 18 September 2021. Wanga Mutshotsho was a grade 7 learner living at tshikonelo ha-masia village.
She had both living parents but she was living with a 65 year old Flora Mahafha(her grandmother). Her grandmother said that she came back from school on a Friday, washed her clothes and cooked food. After cooking she told her grandmother that she was feeling dizzy and she had a headache. Her grandmother told her to go and rest.
After some hours her brother Thabelo Tshikhudo went to check on her, when he got to her room and tried to wake her up she did not wake up, only to find that that she was dead. Her body was examined by the postmortem examiners and they confirmed that she was poisoned during school hours.
Indeed that was a hurting truth to the family. Wanga Mutshotsho’s funeral was held on saturday 25 september 2021 at Madzikuse primary school. The culprit has not been found yet but the school principal and the police are still investigating the matter.
Wanga had a dream to become a social worker but she couldn’t fulfil her dream because she is now six feet under. May her soul rest in peace..”till we meet again!!
