A girl who was murdered brutally:
Few months ago the Maluleka family opened a missing case for one of their 3 daughters Zanele Maluleka.
Zanele Maluleka was a 24 year old woman who was living with her 88 year old grandmother(Gladys Maluleka) at maphophe village.
Zanele had been missing since tuesday 27 july 2021. Which means she was missing for more than two months. She was abducted when she was going to fetch water at the nearby river by anonymous men.
The maphophe community and the family searched for her but they couldn’t find her. As a concerned, community they made a decision that they should strike. The strike took place for more than a month without any luck.
The family and community were starting to give up but the strike continued until it stopped on sunday 5 september 2021. The police were still investigating but they couldn’t find even a single suspect.
On friday 08 October the Maluleka family heard someone shouting saying that there was a dead body inside the old butcher. The family suddenly rushed to the butcher to see if it was their daughter but unfortunately when they arrived there it was truly their daughter Zanele naked and butchered. Her inner parts were taken out, including heart and intestines.
Her mother Gloria Maluleka couldn’t bare to see her daughter like that so she suddenly fainted. The police tried to examine the body if they were any fingerprints but there was not even a single fingerprint. The reason for this is that the body was completely cleaned including her inner parts.
Zanele’s funeral was held on sunday 10 October 2021 at her granny’s house. Her body was not buried, instead it was cremated.
