A 2yrs old girl who was raped by her stepfather.
On Sunday 01 November 2021 a 2yrs old Xiyimo Chauke was raped by a 40 yrs old David Mabasa( her stepfather).
The matter happened at Ha -tshikonelo kanganama. When the matter happened her mother(Cecilia Chauke) was not at home. It is said that her mother was shopping at ha muriri Usave supermarket next to ramavhale filling station.
Because her mother trusted the stepfather she left her daughter with. After her mother left, the stepfather saw that it was a good opportunity to rape his stepdaughter xiyimo. Xiyimo cried for help while her stepfather was raping her.
One of the neighbours( Mavis Maluleke) heard xiyimo crying and decided to go and see what was happening. She was surprised to see the stepfather raping his stepdaughter . Mavis suddenly rushed into the house and grabbed the man by his clothes.
She did that while calling the other community member and police. Mavis was also the one who called xiyimo’s mother. Her mother came home crying due to what happened to her daughter. David Mabasa was arrested and the matter is now in law’s hands. Xiyimo was examined by the doctors and they found that it was not the first time thay xiyimo was raped.
