Currently, the Umlando challenge is one of the dances that is trending in Mzansi, this dance has got people dancing on tables and different kinds of furniture, literally anywhere!! Including their workplaces.
One of the presenters of the Umhlobo Wenene radio, Putco Mafamani, who is responsible for the sports section, got a suspension from work when one of his videos dancing on office furniture became a topic on social media.
This time around it was not the Umlando dance that for the Umhlobo Wenene presenter suspended.
The video showed the presenter dancing to the Nkao Tempela song doing the trendy dance.
The presenter has also spoken out, by issuing out an apology to his fans, workplace colleagues, including SABC, for his behaviour.
He was allegedly taken off schedule and stopped from airing on radio, until Friday the 28th. Putco is also said to have realised how negligent his behaviour was.
In his apology, he said he is sorry for allowing him self to be swept off by the Nkao Tempela dance. He also stated that it was totally unacceptable.
“My actions were those of excitement and they overlooked a few important safety regulations” he said.
