Crime honestly does not pay, at most times, it’s reward can be very bitter.
Yesterday afternoon on the 18th of February 2022, during the hours of 15:30 at the village of Mapate, which is located outside of thohoyandou.
A man by the name of Phathutshedzo Nemukula was who was allegedly found committing a criminal offence, where he was caught stealing an electricity cable.
The man is said to be is Twenty six (26) years of age. He was allegedly caught in the process of stealing the electricity cable, when a group of people caught him in the middle of this act, without thinking twice or hesitating, those that caught him started to beat him with stones and hard bricks ect.
When people were in the process of beating him, an unknown man is said to have appeared with a gun and told the mob to leave the man and stop beating him or he will have to result to killing them one by one with his gun.
He then suggested that they call police and the police didn’t come on time, this resulted in him being taken to the hospital.
The man is said to be currently in the hospital, fighting for his life, after sustaining wounds from the beating he received from the Mob.
