She has been surviving on her government grant, that she receives every month and this this is what she has been surviving on, in order to take care of her triplets, including her last born child, who is a four year old toddler.
The government grant that she has been receiving, has proved to not be enough to sustain her and her four kids, which means in total, five of them are surviving on the grant that they receive every month.
She makes use of the money that she receives every month to pay her house rent, buy enough food for her and her children and including electricity.
The unemployed mother of four, from Thulamahashe Mpumalanga explained her story on how things started changing for her and her kids, things that led her to be left in the condition that she is in today.
In her statement she stated that things started going ugly when her uncle, one day decided to let them know that they should move out of the house that she was staying in.
The uncle called all the way from Johannesburg and told Sindi that he should not find her and her kids occupying the house that she was meant to be staying in.
“We had no option but to go leave”, she said.
The father of my kids, who is also her husband, makes some extra money out of doing some peace jobs where he makes money that is as small as R150.
One of the challenges that she faces a lot is with her triplets. The triplets are always sick and this subjects Sindi to spend a large sum of money on their health care, buying more food to feed, including the electricity and water bill, and this leaves her with nothing much to survive with.
