According to reports, actress Tebogo Thobejane has initiated legal action against social media personality Inno Morolong for defamation of character. This comes as a result of their public argument that escalated into a hostile confrontation a few months ago, during which Inno made some false accusations of defamation against Tebogo. According to Sunday World, the actress from Muvhango is demanding R500,000 in compensation from Inno, in addition to a public apology and a retraction.
During one of her outbursts, Inno called Tebogo “a loose lady” and made various accusations against her. She also called Tebogo. In addition to this, she asserted that she makes money off of other people by using her body.
After they had fought each other physically, Inno went live on Instagram and said that Tebogo had slept with Nigerian guys in the past in order to fund her jewelry and other extravagant purchases. In addition to that, she referred to her as a “evil witch.”
“I don’t sell my body, so I sleep well at night… my kid is friends with one of my exes,” I reassured her. You call me an old rag, yet you sleep with twenty guys—in fact, twenty is an underestimate for the number of men you sleep with. Some of these men want you to sleep with them while unprotected, and you’re disgusting because of it “— I quote her.
“A few of these guys will fck you in the privacy of your own home. In the privacy of my own home, I have never been fucked by a guy. You’re even staying there with your kid, yet you don’t give a damn about males in your own home. Having sex without protection causes you to enjoy dying. You and the same group of buddies fck each other; may I name drop? I am able to provide the names of the males, including all of the Nigerians and the elderly men. Do you recall who gave you your very first bracelet and how you got it? You had to f*ck your pals in order to get your hands on that bracelet.”
In addition, she brought up the topic of the President, asking, “What about the president? What about the time when you and your friend were playing three-card poker and you made the comment that she was dull in bed?
Tebogo is taking legal action against Inno because, according to the documents, she claims that the statements are defamatory and that she is doing it because she is pursuing legal action.
According to the publication, the lawyer letters read as follows: “The defendant’s statements are malicious and violated the dignity of the plaintiff. Since it is not true that the plaintiff is a prostitute, the plaintiff is entitled to protect her dignity because it was violated by the defendant’s statements.”
Inno had ignored the messages that were sent to her on many occasions, and at one time she allegedly reacted to the notes she received with “LOL.”
Even Inno took to Instagram to say that she would never apologize to Tebogo for what she had said about Tebogo since it seemed that what Inno stated was accurate.
“And what for? Because you said the truth? Why should I feel the need to apologize to you. I never will do it. You can think of the worst possible thing to do, but I will never apologize to you, sesi,” replied Inno. “I will never apologize to you.”
Tebogo contends that Inno does not have proof to support the statements that she made, and she claims that the drama caused her to incur some form of financial loss.
As a response to the defamatory statements, Tebogo stated to TshisaLive that Inno is nothing more than a bully and that his bullying has reached an unacceptable level. “That is not the case. Everyone is able to see what it is that I am doing. I’m always working. She has no intention other than to tarnish my good name. Even if I’ve dated a lot of affluent guys, you can’t call me a prostitute just because of that. I believe that she engages in a great deal of activity in order to gain likes.
